ABOUT ME

As a student broadcaster, I work for 90.9 The Light, my school’s student-run radio station. I view sportscasting as more than a job because It is about sharing the moment and the energy that goes along with it. There is nothing like and feeling the emotions of the players or making a grandparent’s day listening to their grandkids on the radio.

Sports have always interested me. I played ice hockey growing up, both playing and broadcasting for my high school team. Outside of broadcasting, I enjoy hiking and camping. I love being able to experience nature and love the different scenic views across the country. I try to be someone who is positive but is serious about getting the job done. I have a love for pets. I have had two dogs growing up. Training them to be the best pets they can be is an enjoyable challenge for me, and there is nothing like coming home to see them.
